Might be getting a 95 Oldsmobile Cutless Ciera, Any problem spots I should know about?
Its at an silent auction @ a credit union, It was a repo, the clear coat is flaking but no rust I can see and it has exactly 100k and the tires look good. I put in about 950$ bucks 4 it so we’ll see. I had a 90 Buick Century(which is similar) but that was a long time ago. It has the 3.1 v6(vs the 4 banger) which I’ve heard is the better engine.
Any problem spots I should know of. This is gonna be the around town car but thats it.

check to see if water is getting into the oil, it may need intake gaskets, take the oil cap off and see if it looks like chocolate milk, also check to see if the lifters are making noise and are real loud.
The 3.1 is noted for blowing intake gaskets and that will cost you $600. to get repaired, I have replaced mine 2 times in 143,000 miles, also think about parts for that car are no longer easily available due to GM doing away with the olds line.
