Kia repossessed my vehicle for being behind payments. All payments were paid 2 days before they repossessed my vehicle. They gave me 12 days to come up with the money to get my vehicle from the repo place. Well on the 12th day I went to pick it up and the repo place told me Kia took my car and that it was out of their hands. Well I call Kia and they tell me my car is all the way in spokane (I live in Tacoma) at an auction house. So I was not able to get my vehicle nor the new stereo I put in it. I want to know can I fight this in court. All my payments were recent and I had the money to get my car and they took it 2 days before they were supposed to according to the paper document I received. If anyone can help It would be greatly appreciated.

Yes ,keep all papers and keep a record of all communications with them.
I would go and get some legal advice and for sure its still registered in your name then you could report the car stolen

Take all your paperwork to an attorney and get some solid legal advice. These yahoos on Yahoo! are not licensed to practice law. Sometimes a stern letter from an attorney will shake them out of their lethargy.
Yes, you can sue Kia. If you paid your payments, and did not release the title, it is still your car! You need to get an attorney to help you get your car back.
Once you have it back, you need to sell it, pay off the loan, and go buy a car for cash that you can actually afford! You bought a new stereo when you had no money in the bank and were getting behind on your payments bad enough that they came and TOOK your CAR!@!@! Quit being and Idiot trying to live like someone you aren’t. If you have to borrow money to buy it you cant afford it!!!
